Volunteers Enjoy Packing Boxes
On packing day, the boxes await the arrival of volunteers who lovingly stuff the boxes with all of the donated items. Once the boxes are full of supplies, they are distributed to be packed for shipment.
Boxes and Costs
Shipping for each box is $16.10. Once we add all of the supplies, each box can cost from $60-$75. That can be up to $11,250 needed in postage and items for each shipment of 150 boxes. Click to find out What’s in a Package.
Local Groups, Sponsors, and Supporters
Many of our volunteers have connections with local groups, schools, and churches. Many groups and classrooms are involved in supporting our deployed military men and women.

A Note on Your Support for Our Cause
Operation America Cares is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that exists solely on donations of supplies to fill our boxes, money for postage and supplies, and the time supplied by our tireless volunteers. We would not be able to do what we do without their generous support. The entire Operation America Cares operation runs out of the founder’s home, with a small storage facility used locally for storing donated and purchased items waiting to be packed.
There is NO overhead, NO salaries, and NO compensation of any kind paid from your donations, period.
Every dime you donate to Operation America Cares goes into the care packages sent to our deployed military men and women.
We use PayPal to process your donations on their secure encrypted site. No personal information is maintained or stored on our Operation America Cares website.
