Announcing the 2021 FedEx Cares report

FedEx Cares delivers connections and resources that help communities solve pressing problems and prepare for what’s next.

In 2021, we expanded and adapted our citizenship programs to address the growing community needs as the global pandemic continued, while we remained focused on addressing tough societal issues.

We increased our long-standing support of food banks and hunger relief programs around the world to help fill shelves during a time of great need. We also pledged more than $5 million to fund Historically Black Colleges and Universities to prepare students for the workforce and provide financial assistance to students facing economic hardship due to the pandemic.

Our commitment to a more sustainable future was heightened by our investment to establish the Yale Center for Natural Carbon Capture, where scientists can research solutions to accelerate carbon capture based on the earth’s natural processes. And FedEx team members got involved through the FedEx Priority Earth Global Grant Program, where they selected nonprofits at the forefront of developing innovative solutions to combat climate change to receive a total of $600,000 in grant funding.
